We’re Ashika and Michelle — Bay Area natives, wives, moms of three, and the duo behind Amie Gatherings. Pronounced ah-mee, amie means “friend” in French and is also a blend of our names. It’s a small nod to friendship, connection, and the joy of gathering with the people you love.

Ashika has always been the friend who loves hosting and adding the special touches that make people feel seen. She brings warmth, connection, and years of administrative expertise to the client experience. Her background shapes the way she supports each client with attention to detail from the first conversation to the moment it all comes together.

Michelle leads the creative direction behind our design and styling. As a labor and delivery nurse of over a decade, she has spent years caring for families during some of life's most meaningful moments. Her love for DIY, design, and bringing visions to life helps create celebrations that are one-of-a-kind and full of care.
